Built in local red sandstone, Crawfordton House is an example of Scottish Baronial architecture, with crowstepped gables, towers, turrets and carvings
The Crawfordton House is the product of a modern day fairy-tale, sitting on 33 acres of ground. The current four-story square tower with spiraling turrets built in 1863 with local red sandstone is some of the best preserved example of Scottish Baronial architecture, with crowstepped gables, towers, turrets and carvings. There is a four-story square tower over the entrance bay.
